She is extremely patient, as symbolized by her long wand, but once that fuse runs out, she has all the fury of fire at her disposal, and is extremely dangerous once crossed.

The Queen of Wands has many friends, and is very sensual, despite being the most masculine (fire energy) of the Queens (making her femininity a shadowed perspective of this card). Such is the dualism in her story. Unfortunately, because of her strong ambition and long fuse, she often pursues her goals for too long, a stubbornness that is detrimental and burns her out in the process.

When the Queen of Wands shows up in a reading, it is often a symbol of a person who is coming into your life who would make a good friend, but a dangerous enemy. You may need to be careful around them so that they don’t reach the end of the rope while you work together, because you don’t want to end up on her bad side.

As energy within yourself, she may appear to both inspire and warn you to pursue your goal, but with steadfastness, keeping an eye on your reserves and making sure to take care of yourself so you don’t end up burning out. Consistency and dedication are her lessons, but if you can’t achieve on your own, it is perfectly acceptable to delegate and call upon friends.
