Jasmine Flowers in Moon Magic and Love Ritual
Jasminum officinale, the common white jasmine, carries one of the most storied magical reputations in the botanical world. Its Persian name, yasmin, translates as “gift from God,” a fitting designation for a plant whose fragrance has been woven into sacred ceremony from Hindu weddings in India to Sufi devotional poetry across the Arab world. Ruled by the Moon and associated with the element of Water, jasmine operates at the intersection of emotion, intuition, and desire, making it one of the most versatile love and moon herbs a practitioner can keep on hand.
Jasmine flowers go into love-drawing charm bags, candle dressing blends, and floor washes intended to sweeten relationships and attract romantic partners. This one-pound bulk pack suits practitioners who work jasmine regularly into candles, sachets, and incense blends and want a meaningful supply on hand.
Prophetic Dreams, Money Drawing, and Moon Correspondence
Jasmine’s lunar correspondence gives it a natural home in full moon rituals, dream work, and psychic development practice. Placing dried jasmine under a pillow or inside a dream sachet is a traditional method for inviting prophetic dreams and strengthening the intuitive faculty. The flowers are burned on charcoal or blended into loose incense for moon rites, with practitioners reporting that the smoke helps open the third-eye chakra and deepen the meditative state needed for vision work. Jasmine is also used in money-drawing work, added to green candle workings or carried in a gold sachet to attract prosperity.
Paired with rose petals for love, or with mugwort for dream amplification, jasmine functions as both a primary ingredient and an enhancing base note in complex blends. Browse my love and attraction herbs for complementary botanicals that pair well with jasmine in romantic spell work.
How to Use Jasmine Flowers
Three ritual methods for working with bulk dried jasmine flowers in love, dream, and moon magic.
- Full Moon Love Ritual
On the full moon, fill a fireproof dish with dried jasmine flowers on a lit charcoal disc. As smoke rises, write your intention for love or connection on paper and hold it in the smoke before placing it on your altar for the lunar cycle.
- Dream Sachet
Fill a small muslin bag with two tablespoons of dried jasmine flowers, a pinch of mugwort, and a small piece of moonstone. Tuck the sachet inside your pillowcase before sleep to invite prophetic dreams and strengthen psychic receptivity during rest.
- Love-Drawing Charm Bag
Combine jasmine flowers with a lodestone, a pinch of damiana, and a few rose petals in a pink flannel bag. Feed the bag with a drop of jasmine or rose oil and carry it close to your body to draw romantic love and emotional warmth toward you.
The Tarot Fellow Standard
I carry jasmine flowers in both bulk and packet form because it is simply one of the most multi-purpose love and moon herbs I stock, and the one-pound quantity makes sense for practitioners who work with it regularly in candle dressing, incense blending, or large-batch sachets. The flowers here are whole and dried, not ground, giving you control over how finely you want to work with them for each application.
