About Gallina Negra
The black chicken, or gallina negra, is a symbol used in botanica-style protection products, where the black bird is associated with absorbing and neutralizing negative forces, including the evil eye and deliberate hexes. This 100 g bar is formulated on a vegetable base and includes black pepper oil (Piper nigrum), along with coconut oil and cocoa seed butter. The deep pigment comes from CI 77266, a cosmetic black colorant. Like all Ohli~Way soaps, it ships with a bilingual prayer card and a small charm intended to extend the protection beyond the bath.
