Truth Rice in Ritual Work
Rice is a practical ritual material, and its grain form makes it physically suited for counting, scattering, and containing. Truth Rice is a prepared, intention-set blend designed specifically for workings involving clarity, honest communication, and the removal of deception. It is sold for ritual use only and is not a food ingredient.
In folk magic frameworks, truth workings draw on a cluster of related intentions: uncrossing confusion, compelling honest speech, clearing illusions before making decisions, and supporting situations where honest testimony matters. Herbs often paired with truth workings include licorice root for compelling speech, cloves for stopping gossip, and High John the Conqueror root for uncrossing. Truth Rice may be used as a base carrier in a charm bag or bottle spell, layered with these complementary herbs and a written petition. Divination Support and Clarity Rituals
Beyond truth-compelling workings, Truth Rice is used by practitioners to support divination accuracy. Scattering a small amount in the four corners of a reading space before a tarot or oracle session is a folk practice intended to clear confusion and invite unobstructed sight. Some practitioners also toss rice onto a flat surface and read the pattern the grains make, similar to rune casting.
The 1oz quantity is well-suited to single spells, a set of jar workings, or multiple small rituals over a moon cycle. It fits inside a standard witch bottle, small charm bag, or offering bowl without bulk. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If using in a floor wash, infuse the rice in hot water to draw out the intentions before straining the liquid for use.
How to Use Truth Ritual Rice 1oz for Divination and Clarity
How to work with Truth Ritual Rice in spells, divination prep, and bottle workings.
- Set the Intention Before Working
Hold the packet in both hands and state your working intention: honest communication, clarity before a reading, or compelling truth in a conflict. Setting your intention before handling materials keeps the working focused.
- Incorporate into Your Spell or Offering
Add a pinch to a charm bag with cloves or licorice root. Scatter a small amount at the four corners of your altar before a reading. Or fill a small bottle spell with rice, a written petition, and a sealing candle.
- Dispose of the Working Appropriately
When the working is done, dispose of spent rice at a crossroads, flowing water, or in the earth away from your property. Many practitioners treat how they dispose of ritual materials as part of the working.
The Tarot Fellow Standard
I stock ritual rice because it fills a gap: practitioners need carrier bases that are inexpensive, storable, and already intention-set without requiring a full herb blend assembly from scratch. Truth Rice earns its place because divination support is one of the most practical workings for anyone maintaining a regular reading or consulting practice. The 1oz quantity is appropriate for multiple workings without overstocking.
