Unblocked Oil and Road-Opening Work
Clearing blocked paths is a familiar ritual goal, often called “road opening”, a category of ritual designed to remove obstacles standing between a practitioner and their goals. Unblocked oil fits within this category of obstacle-clearing workings, used by practitioners who need to create movement in situations that feel stuck or sealed off.
Espiritu’s Unblocked oil is a ritual aroma/fragrance oil, and not the same as botanical oils found in general wellness or aromatherapy contexts. For practitioners who work with obstacle-clearing ritual on a regular schedule, the 1 oz bottle is a practical supply consideration rather than a one-time purchase: it holds significantly more than a 2 dram bottle and supports extended practice without frequent restocking. Find complementary formulas in my Espiritu oils collection.
Regular Ritual Use and Application Methods
Practitioners who work with uncrossing and road-opening on a consistent basis treat it as a maintenance practice rather than a one-time working: a regular candle dressing schedule, a weekly anointing of threshold points in the home, or a monthly ritual to clear accumulated obstacles from multiple life areas at once. For this kind of sustained work, the 1 oz bottle is the appropriate size. It’s enough to support a full lunar cycle of candle dressings, threshold anointings, and petition work without running out mid-working.
Common applications include dressing orange or yellow candles associated with road opening, anointing the soles of shoes before important meetings or transitions, and placing a few drops on a petition paper naming the specific obstacle being addressed. The oil can also be used to anoint doorframes or thresholds when intending to clear stagnant energy from a living or working space. These are fragrance/ritual oils intended for external ritual use. How to Use Espiritu Unblocked Ritual Aroma Oil 1oz
Three application methods for practitioners maintaining a regular obstacle-clearing practice with Unblocked oil.
- Set Up a Regular Candle Dressing Routine
Choose an orange or yellow candle for road-opening work. Apply Unblocked oil by stroking from the base upward toward the wick while stating your petition. The 1 oz bottle supports a sustained weekly practice, suited for cyclical regular workings.
- Anoint Thresholds and Transition Points
Apply a small amount of Unblocked oil to doorframes, windowsills, or the soles of shoes before major transitions or where you need movement and clarity. This practice signals intent at points of entry and departure.
- Prepare a Petition Paper for Obstacle Clearing
Write the specific block or obstacle on a paper. Apply a drop of Unblocked oil to each corner and the center, fold it toward you, and place it under a dressed candle or in a sealed envelope. Revisit and replace the petition at regular intervals.
The Tarot Fellow Standard
I stock the 1 oz Unblocked oil because practitioners who work with road-opener and uncrossing rituals consistently report going through the smaller 2 dram size faster than expected once they establish a regular practice. The 1 oz bottle removes that supply friction and lets the work continue uninterrupted. Espiritu’s formulas are consistent and purpose-built, making them a reliable foundation for ongoing ritual work rather than occasional use. This is a ritual fragrance oil intended for external ritual applications, not a therapeutic or aromatherapy product.
