Housewarming Reiki Charged Pillar Candle: Craft, Intention, and Use
Crystal Journey hand-crafts this housewarming pillar candle in New England using highly refined, food-grade wax, a cotton and paper lead-free wick, and an aroma oil blend of cinnamon, apple, and orange. Those three scents are often used in home-blessing contexts: cinnamon draws warmth and prosperity, apple carries associations with hearth and domestic harmony, and orange brings vitality and uplifting energy to a space. The combination is functional as a fragrance and meaningful as a symbolic statement about what you want a home to hold.
The “Reiki Charged” designation reflects Crystal Journey’s crafting practice. Practitioners on the production team apply Reiki energy work during the candle-making process, treating the wax and oils as a medium for focused intention. This is a standard feature of Crystal Journey’s pillar line, not a marketing claim applied after the fact. The candle comes with a printed affirmation invoking peace, safety, and warmth for the home and all who live in it.
New Home Blessing Traditions and How This Candle Fits In
Blessing a new home before or just after moving in is one of the most cross-cultural of all ritual practices. Catholic priests perform a formal house blessing using holy water and prayer. Feng shui tradition calls for clearing stagnant chi from corners and thresholds. All of these practices share the same underlying logic: a space holds the energy of its history, and intentional marking of a new occupancy resets that history.
A pillar candle like this one works as the anchor point in any of those traditions. The sustained burn, the warmth of the cinnamon-apple-orange fragrance filling the rooms, and the act of lighting with stated intention create a sensory and symbolic threshold moment. The 7-inch size burns long enough for a proper ceremony without requiring a rushed ritual, and the clean wax formula means you will not be dealing with excess soot on walls or ceilings during an otherwise careful process.

How to Use the Housewarming Reiki Charged Pillar Candle
Three steps for using the housewarming pillar candle in a new home blessing ritual.
- Set Your Intention Before Lighting
Before lighting, set a clear intention for the space being blessed. Hold the candle and visualize the home filled with warmth and peace. This focused moment is standard in Catholic, feng shui, and other house-blessing ritual traditions.
- Place and Burn in a Central Location
Place the candle centrally, such as on a kitchen table or living room altar, and burn it in one or more sittings. The cotton lead-free wick and food-grade refined wax burn cleanly without petroleum smoke altering your space’s ceremonial atmosphere.
- Close the Ritual After Burning
After burning, practitioners often bury remaining wax near the front threshold, tying the blessing to the structure. Others keep a journal entry noting the date and stated intention, marking the ritual as a meaningful moment in the home’s history.
The Tarot Fellow Standard
I stock Crystal Journey’s Reiki Charged pillars because the combination of clean-burning food-grade wax, aroma oil fragrance, and practitioner-applied intention work puts them in a category above generic scented candles marketed with spiritual labels. This housewarming candle does the sensory and symbolic work a home-blessing ritual needs: warm scent, clean burn, and a clear stated purpose.
