The Deck That Goes Where You Go
The Universal Waite Tarot has been a staple deck since U.S. Games Systems published it in 1990. Mary Hanson-Roberts re-colored Pamela Colman Smith’s original Rider-Waite line drawings with a softer, cleaner palette that makes the symbolism easier to read at a glance. This keychain edition shrinks that same 78-card artwork down to under 1.5 inches without dropping a single card or symbol.
The hard plastic snap case is compact enough to clip to a keyring or drop into a jacket pocket. A small LWB with basic card meanings is tucked inside so you can look up an unfamiliar card on the spot. It is a real, usable deck first, a novelty second.
A Complete Tarot in Your Pocket
Some miniature decks cut corners by reducing card count or simplifying artwork. This one does not. All 78 cards are present, from the Fool through the World in the Majors to the full four suits in the Minors. The re-coloring by Hanson-Roberts adds contrast that helps tiny details remain visible at this reduced scale.
How to Use the Tiny Tarot Keychain
Three simple steps for reading with your miniature deck anywhere.
- Open and Shuffle
Snap the case open and slide out the 78-card deck. Fan the cards face-down in your palm or lay them on a flat surface. The small size lets you shuffle by overhand method comfortably, whether at home, at work, or traveling.
- Draw and Read
Draw one card as a daily focus or lay a three-card spread on any nearby surface. The mini LWB inside the case gives upright meanings for every card in plain, readable language, so you can look up an unfamiliar card right where you are.
- Pack Up and Go
Return the deck and booklet to the case, snap it shut, and clip the ball-chain to a keyring, bag, or lanyard. The deck travels with you, so a quick pull is always possible for a midday check-in or a reading on the road.
The Tarot Fellow Standard
I stock this deck because it solves a real problem: most tarot decks do not fit a pocket or a keyring. The Universal Waite art is familiar to readers at every level, and having all 78 cards in a case this small makes it a genuine daily-carry option. Browse my tarot decks for full-size options.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. All 78 standard cards are included, Major and Minor Arcana, with Pamela Colman Smith art re-colored by Mary Hanson-Roberts. It is a fully functional deck, not a promotional subset or sampler version.
Cards measure 1.1875 inches by 1.375 inches. They are small but clearly printed. Overhand shuffling works at this size. Riffle shuffling is not practical. The deck is meant for daily single pulls and simple spreads.
A small Little White Book is tucked inside the case alongside the cards. It lists basic upright card meanings so you can reference an unfamiliar card on the spot. The booklet is proportionally tiny but fully legible.
The case is a clear hard plastic clamshell that snaps closed securely. A ball-chain keychain attaches to the outside. It is sturdy enough for daily bag or keyring use, though the snap is not a lock, so keep it upright.

Delivered but not received packages are so frustrating! Your local post office will have the GPS of the delivery scan and 9/10 times can locate a package as long as it wasn’t stolen. Please contact them. If they aren’t able to help, submit a refund request.
