Contained fire burns with focus and duration. This collection of jar and container candles covers the ritual practitioner’s full range: seven-day glass vigil candles for sustained petition work, lidded soy jar candles in spiritual formulas and intention scents, fixed container candles dressed with herbs and oils before pouring, and refillable glass holders that let you continue a working over multiple burns.
Seven-day vigil candles are a cornerstone of Hoodoo and Catholic-influenced folk-magic practice — lit with a petition and allowed to burn continuously (safely) for a week as a sustained prayer or spell. Jar candles in lighter formulas work equally well for chakra work, seasonal ritual, or simple home atmosphere with spiritual intention.
Choose a candle by its color and scent profile for your current working, and write your petition on a small piece of paper to place under the glass. Simple, traditional, and effective. 🕯️
