Chalices

The chalice is the altar’s vessel of receiving — associated with the element of water, the western quarter, the divine feminine, and the principle of abundance. In Wicca it represents the Goddess and is one of the four primary altar tools alongside the wand, athame, and pentacle. In ceremonial magic it holds offerings, sacred wine, and blessed water. In any tradition, the chalice marks the quality of what is held.
My collection of ritual chalices includes pewter goblets with engraved Celtic and pentacle designs, hammered brass cups with a warm, ancient feel, steel chalices for more austere ceremonial work, and ornate goblets suitable for sabbat celebrations and coven ritual. Sizes range from individual practice cups to larger sharing chalices for group ceremony.
Choose a chalice that resonates with both your aesthetic and your tradition. A well-chosen chalice becomes one of the altar tools you use for decades. Pairs naturally with altar cloths, a ritual athame, and a pentacle tile for a complete Wiccan altar setup.
