A candle without a proper holder is a fire hazard; a candle in the right holder is an altar centerpiece. This collection of pillar holders and candle holders provides safe, beautiful, and ritual-appropriate bases for pillar candles, taper candles, and seven-day glass vigil candles. Options include cast iron pillar stands with drip trays, flat crystal or marble plates for wide pillar use, decorative metal holders with celestial and elemental motifs, and raw-edge wood slabs for a naturalistic altar aesthetic.
Sizes are specified for standard pillar diameters (2-inch and 3-inch), taper candles, and seven-day glasses so you can match holder to candle type precisely. Safety is never a compromise in candle work — the right holder keeps your candle stable, catches drips, and prevents surface damage during extended burns.
Choose by aesthetic tradition: cast iron for a classical Wiccan altar, crystal plate for a minimal clean-line practice space, or carved wood for an earth-element or forest-witch aesthetic. 🕯️
