Why choose the 1 oz size over the dram?

It comes down to frequency of use. A dram, at roughly a quarter ounce, suits occasional work or testing whether a scent fits your practice. A full ounce holds about four times as much, which makes more sense for anyone dressing candles regularly, maintaining a charm bag over weeks, or refreshing a household protection working on a schedule. Both sizes are the identical oil, so the choice is really about how often you expect to reach for the bottle rather than anything about the oil itself.

What is Mimosa traditionally used for in ritual practice?

Folk correspondence ties mimosa to Venus, water, and the heart chakra, with associations running toward love, self-love, and the emotional steadiness of a home. It's linked to Aphrodite for romance and Hestia for the hearth, which is part of why its use spans both romantic charms and household protection work. Its defining quality across sources is gentleness: it's consistently described as opening the heart rather than compelling anyone's feelings, distinguishing it from more forceful love oils in the same general family.

Can Mimosa oil be combined with stones or other oils?

Yes, pairing it with a heart-associated stone like rose quartz is a combination more than one source on mimosa's correspondences points to directly, and black tourmaline is sometimes added when the focus leans more protective. Blending it with other love or heart-chakra oils is common practice as well. I'd test a blend on a small scale first, a scrap of paper or a spare candle, since scent combinations are a matter of personal taste even when the correspondences line up on paper.

How long does a 1 oz bottle typically last?

That depends heavily on how you use it, but stored properly, in a cool, dark place away from heat, light, and any contact with water, most ritual fragrance oils hold up for several months or longer without noticeable change. Since applications are meant to be light, a few drops at a time, a full ounce generally covers a good stretch of regular use, whether that's weekly candle work or ongoing charm-bag maintenance. Shake gently before each use to keep the scent consistent.
